India's upgraded 'Bahubali' rocket is poised to launch Chandrayaan-3, the country's third lunar mission, with the aim of achieving a soft landing on the moon's south pole.
The 'Bahubali' rocket, renamed Launch Vehicle Mark 3 (LM-3), weighs 642 tons and has a flawless success rate in its previous five flights.
Chandrayaan-3 will carry a satellite weighing 3921 kilograms and seven scientific instruments, aiming to become the fourth country to successfully perform a soft landing on the moon.
