  • Nigerians can use crypto cards to easily make international payments and bypass the restrictions on the Naira card. Five popular crypto cards available for Nigerians are NoOnes, Bitbama, Bitsika, Redotpay and Qards. NoOnes is a reputable crypto exchange with a Visa virtual card. Bitbama virtual card is funded with stablecoins and powered by MasterCard. Bitsika offers user-friendly P2P trading and virtual Visa cards with no KYC requirements. RedotPay's cards come as both virtual and physical and can be paid for directly with cryptocurrencies. Quidax is still developing Qards, which would enable users to spend their digital assets anywhere.
  • NoOnes is a reputable crypto exchange with over 500 payment options for P2P transactions. It offers a crypto Visa virtual card to convert and spend crypto assets on millions of online platforms. Bitmama virtual crypto card is funded with stablecoins (USDT, USDC) and can be used to make transactions on platforms like Alibaba and Spotify. Bitsika offers two types of cards, Standard and Premium, that can be used for online payments as long as the platform accepts VISA. RedotPay offers both virtual and physical cards that come with a daily transaction limit of $100,000. Qards is an upcoming crypto debit card by Quidax.
  • To create a NoOnes virtual card, users need to sign up and complete the ID verification process. Once created, top it up to activate it and start using the card. Activating a NoOnes virtual card costs $1, with top-ups charged at $2 for under $100 or 1.5% for over $100. Bitbama crypto card requires a level 3 verification and processing fee of $0.50 for each transaction. Bitsika's Premium card can be topped up multiple times and users are charged $3 top-up charge and $2 monthly fee. RedotPay charges a 1% transaction and 1.20% for payments in non-default currency. Qards is still in the development phase.
  • Crypto cards provide an alternative for making international payments as they use digital currencies that are not controlled by the government. Users can easily load these cards with crypto and use them to make international payments, bypassing the Naira card restrictions.
