Brits are longing for big adventures and long-haul holidays and destinations in summer 2025, according to KAYAK, the world’s leading travel search engine.
Data analyzed flight searches and revealed that eight of the top ten trending travel destinations for that summer are located outside of Europe, with Zimbabwe taking the top spot.
Brits are keen to travel long-haul for experiencing a completely different culture, further away adventure, experiencing different nature and trying completely different foods.
Top trending destinations include bucket-list locations to see famous landmarks for themselves and animals such as elephants and tigers in India or safari in Zimbabwe.
Half of Brits say they’d rather go for one big long-haul holiday instead of multiple shorter trips while the other half spend the same amount of money they’d usually spend on a holiday or even less.
KAYAK found that money doesn’t seem to be a concern for everyone, as almost a quarter of people say they’d actually spend more on a long-haul holiday, while others look for less popular destinations outside of Europe to save money.
KAYAK also reveals that prices for locations such as Australia have dropped by 7% YoY, now offering better value than before.
KAYAK lists the less popular destinations outside of Europe, which include Morocco, Canada, and the US, that offer great deals for travelers to go to next summer.
Business and first-class searches are up on KAYAK.co.uk, showing that Brits aim to enjoy traveling in style.
Travelers are looking forward to tick long-haul dream destinations off their bucket list without breaking the bank with favorable exchange rates.
