<ul><li>The California Energy Commission (CEC) will launch a new $55-million funding round in July 2025 to support the installation of DC fast charging stations in California.</li><li>The funding will cover up to 100% of the costs to deploy EV fast chargers, with a maximum funding per charging port of either $55,000 or $100,000 based on the power level.</li><li>Applications for the funding will be open to EV charging service providers and businesses representing various locations such as convenience stores, gas stations, retail centers, parking lots, and hotels.</li><li>Priority will be given to charging projects in tribal, disadvantaged, and low-income communities.</li></ul>
