Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft completed its fifth and final Earth-bound orbit-raising manoeuvre. The spacecraft is now preparing for lunar insertion and will shift to an Earth-to-Moon trajectory. The goal is to enter lunar orbit through the Moon's gravity, eventually leading to a soft landing on the lunar surface. The spacecraft is expected to attain an orbit of 127,609 km x 236 km, which will be confirmed after observations. The next firing, the TransLunar Injection (TLI), is scheduled for August 1, between 12 midnight and 1 am IST.
