This tutorial explains how to check the health status, read/write data, temperature, and other information of your SSD in Ubuntu.There are three options for checking SSD health in Ubuntu: smartctl command line utility, GSmartControl graphical app, and QDiskinfo Qt app.Option 1: Use smartctl command to control and monitor ATA/SATA, SCSI/SAS, and NVMe disks.Option 2: Use GSmartControl, a graphical app based on smartctl, for monitoring HDD/SSD disk status (currently does not support NVMe).
