Detroit-based startup Grounded has developed an electric RV, the G3, using the Chevrolet BrightDrop van as a base, offering over 270 miles of range on a full charge and featuring an interior without wood.
The Grounded G3 electric camper van is built on the latest iteration of the Chevrolet BrightDrop electric van, providing a range close to 285 miles, and supports fast charging with a CCS1 port and adapter for Tesla Superchargers.
Equipped with dual-motor all-wheel drive, the G3 delivers 300 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque, along with features like swappable interior modules, Starlink satellite internet, solar power, and off-grid battery capabilities.
Grounded offers different versions of the G3 RV with varying features and pricing, showcasing a design with no wood components, using recycled materials and reinforced aluminum, and addressing access and seatbelt challenges.
