Chinese-made cars, especially EVs, are dominating this year’s European safety charts with 18 five-star awards given by Euro NCAP.
Chinese cars were once known for being poor in quality and safety, but significant improvements have been made in recent years.
Out of the 28 cars tested by Euro NCAP this year, 18 received five-star ratings, with 13 of them being Chinese-made and 11 being Chinese EVs.
China has transitioned from being ridiculed in the car industry to leading in EV technology, in-car systems, and safety ratings, forcing Western automakers to catch up.
