US-based home energy technology provider ConnectDER has raised $35 million in Series D funding to accelerate its market expansion and develop its meter socket adapters for EV charging and solar power systems.
The funding round was led by new investors Decarbonization Partners and MassMutual Ventures, with participation from existing investors.
ConnectDER plans to launch its next-generation meter socket adapter, IslandDER, which integrates with utility grids and enables islanding of solar, battery storage, and EVs, providing whole-home backup and resiliency.
ConnectDER currently has 25,000 adapters in operation and aims to expand nationwide in the coming years.
