NASA astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) prepared a space botany experiment and packed the SpaceX Dragon cargo spacecraft for return to Earth.
Three NASA astronauts, Nick Hague, Don Pettit, and Butch Wilmore, packed gear for return inside the Dragon spacecraft, which will undock on December 5th.
The crew also installed science gear to study plant responses to different water levels, with the aim of advancing spacecraft life support systems and fresh food production.
Other activities included an amateur radio call with Italian students, gathering hardware for Advanced Plant Habitat operations, and performing ultrasound exams.
