Dacia is working on a small electric city car built on the same platform as the upcoming Renault Twingo EV.
The new Dacia electric vehicle (EV) will debut in 2026 and cost €18,000 ($18,800), approximately €2,000 ($2,100) more than its Renault twin.
Dacia aims to manufacture the EV in Europe to bypass import tariffs, in contrast to the Spring, which is manufactured in China.
The development process for the new Dacia EV will take just 16 months and it will share underpinnings with the Renault Twingo EV, with a traditional small hatchback design.
