<ul><li>Dacia is working on a small electric city car built on the same platform as the upcoming Renault Twingo EV.</li><li>The new Dacia electric vehicle (EV) will debut in 2026 and cost €18,000 ($18,800), approximately €2,000 ($2,100) more than its Renault twin.</li><li>Dacia aims to manufacture the EV in Europe to bypass import tariffs, in contrast to the Spring, which is manufactured in China.</li><li>The development process for the new Dacia EV will take just 16 months and it will share underpinnings with the Renault Twingo EV, with a traditional small hatchback design.</li></ul>
