  • An IP Address (Internet Protocol Address) is like a unique “home address” for devices connected to the internet or a network.
  • IPv4 addresses range from 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255 and are divided into five classes: A, B, C, D, and E.
  • Private IP addresses are reserved for internal use and help reduce the demand for public addresses and enhance security.
  • To view your IPv4 private address, you can open CMD and type ipconfig, and your public IP address can be found through a search on Google.
