Chris Williams believes that employees should be allowed to work multiple jobs and that companies should not try to control their personal lives.
He considers moonlighting, or working a side job alongside a full-time position, as a common practice that shouldn't be discouraged.
Williams suggests that managers should react appropriately to employees having multiple jobs. While there may be valid concerns, like working for competitors, overreacting or increasing employees' workload can have negative consequences.
Instead, Williams encourages managers to celebrate their employees' success and acknowledge their second job.
