Nobel laureate Ferenc Krausz discusses using ultrashort-pulsed laser technology for early disease detection.He is the director of the Max-Planck Institute of Quantum Optics and a professor at LMU Munich in Germany.Krausz is also the CEO of the Center for Molecular Fingerprinting in Budapest, Hungary.He collaborates with Semmelweis University and is involved in the Science4People initiative for education in war-affected regions.
