Production of foldable OLED displays for Apple's first foldable iPhone has started and is expected to launch next year.
Samsung Display is producing the foldable iPhone displays exclusively at its A3 factory in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do.
Apple plans to produce 6-8 million foldable iPhones in 2026 with Samsung Display as the sole supplier for at least the next three years.
The foldable iPhone is expected to have a 7-inch inward-folding OLED display, a 4:3 iPad-style inner display, a thin design, and a dual rear camera system, among other features.
