Ford is recalling nearly 30,000 F-150 Lightning electric pickup trucks in the US due to a loose or missing suspension nut issue.
The recall affects 29,501 units built between February 15, 2024, and April 14, 2025. The nut on the ball joint could lead to the separation of the knuckle from the upper control arm.
Drivers may notice clunks, rattles over bumps, or vibrations if the nut is loose. Ford is offering inspections and potential replacements for affected vehicles.
The issue arose from the possibility of the nut not being torqued correctly during assembly. Ford has already made improvements to prevent this in trucks built post April 14, 2025.
