Apple has rejected Epic Games' attempt to resubmit Fortnite to the US App Store, following a court defeat for Apple in a case brought by Epic.
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney announced plans to return Fortnite to the US App Store but faced obstacles as Apple's new defeat did not guarantee global reinstatement of the game on iPhones.
Epic proposed a peace resolution, suggesting Fortnite's return to the App Store worldwide if Apple adopts a friction-free, Apple-tax-free framework supported by the court.
Despite Epic resubmitting Fortnite using a European account, Apple rejected the submission, leading to the game's continued blockage on the App Store as well as alternative platforms in Europe.
