Researchers have developed a method using carbon nanotubes to improve battery life in wearable devices. The newly developed carbon nanotube wires can conduct electricity as well as copper, while being 100 times stronger than steel. These wires were tested in textile supercapacitors, showing excellent energy storage for more efficient and lightweight wearables. The technology has applications in various fields, such as smart clothing with gas-detection sensors, as well as electric vehicles and drones.
