German startup Energy Island Power has developed a bidirectional charging kit for electric vehicles (EVs).
The kit allows EV owners to use their car's power to support home energy needs by integrating with the solar inverter and the home grid.
The system uses a Power Unit 3000 to connect the vehicle or 230V generator to the solar inverter, which feeds power into the home grid or storage system.
The solution will be launched in the second quarter and will be available for purchase on the company's website.
