Google is teasing a refresh for the Pixel's always-on display in Android 16, which could bring it on par with Samsung and Apple phones.
An upgrade to the always-on display has been observed in Android, but Google has not officially announced these changes yet.
The tweak includes displaying a dimmed version of the home screen wallpaper on the always-on display, an option not currently available on Pixel phones.
The changes are expected to be implemented with the launch of Android 16 in June, bringing more customization options to the Pixel lock screen.
