The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, unveiled recently, was dissected by Youtuber Yang Changshun in a 14-minute video.
The teardown process, lasting around an hour, revealed the fascinating two-lens camera module placed over a single 1/1.28-inch sensor.
Changshun had to dismantle the dual-zoom camera module to explore its internals, capturing the procedure through a microscope.
The dual zoom module houses an 83mm f/2.4 (3.7x) lens and a 212mm f/3.6 (9.4x) lens, operating on a motorized mechanism with approximately 140 components.
This camera setup boasts the largest zoom sensor in a phone, with the mid-tele supporting a full 50MP imager and the telephoto end covering 12.5MP of it.
