Honor is set to introduce the Honor Magic8 series, including three variants: Honor Magic8, Magic8 Pro, and Magic8 Mini, joining the trend of 'mini' smartphones among Chinese brands.
The rumored specs for the Honor Magic8 Mini suggest a 6.3-inch display with MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9500 processor, while the Honor Magic8 will have a 6.58-inch screen with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and the Pro model a 6.7-inch display with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
An Honor Magic8 Lite variant might be released later, following the company's pattern of splitting the launch of conventional and Lite versions. The Magic8 Pro is expected to feature a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP ultrawide, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera.
The release date for the Honor Magic8 series is anticipated to be a few months away, with more specifications likely to be revealed in the future. Time will tell if Honor could bring its new flagships earlier than expected after Qualcomm's unveiling of Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.
