Android 15 has introduced a new feature, Private Space which provides secure vault for sensitive apps that you don't want others to see.
Private Space lets you authenticate your apps with a separate password or biometric security, providing an additional layer of protection.
To use Private Space in Android 15, click on the Settings app, select Security & privacy, tap on Private Space and you'll reach the Private Space page where you can add the apps.
You cannot use the drag and drop feature to install the apps into the Private Space, you have to use the fresh install method.
As soon as you lock the Private Space, the protected apps do not display any notifications. So, you should keep the apps that need notifications out of the Private Space.
Private Space just creates a separate password-protected container on your phone. So, if a malicious app is installed, it will be able to access Private Space data.
Private Space creates a separate password-protected container on your phone. If you wish to hide the Private banner at the bottom of the app library, you can do so using the setting page.
The Private Space feature only appears on certain phones, specifically those running Android 15, including Google's Pixel devices.
