Huawei has launched the Pura 80 series featuring 1” sensors, enhanced processing power, larger batteries, and improved satellite communication.
The series includes the Pura 80, Pura 80 Pro, and Pura 80 Pro+, with the Ultra model discussed separately.
The Huawei Pura 80 boasts a 6.6” flat display with a 5,600mAh battery and 66W wired/50W wireless charging.
The Pro and Pro+ models offer 6.8” quad-curved displays, LTPO OLED screens, 5,700mAh batteries, 100W wired, and 80W wireless charging.
The devices feature USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and are claimed to be 36% faster than their predecessors.
RAM configurations range from 12GB to 16GB with storage options of 256GB/512GB/1TB.
Cameras include a 50MP main shooter on the Pura 80, while Pro and Pro+ feature 1” 50MP main cameras and upgraded sensors for telephoto and ultra-wide shots.
The Pura phones support upgraded satellite messaging capabilities and feature two-way satellite communication.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and NearLink.
IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance are provided for the phones.
Prices for the Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ in China range from CNY 6,500 to CNY 9,000, with USD conversions provided.
The Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ are available in China starting today, while the vanilla Pura 80 is not released yet.
