Hyundai has unveiled the Automatic Charging Robot (ACR), an AI-powered robotic arm that can charge EVs without human input.
The ACR uses 3D camera-based AI algorithms to locate the car's charging port, plug in the charger, monitor the process, and close the port door after charging.
Hyundai tested the ACR at Incheon International Airport in South Korea, showcasing its ability to provide hands-free charging in high-traffic environments.
The ACR is designed to be waterproof and dust resistant, making it suitable for various weather conditions, and is expected to revolutionize the EV charging experience.
