Check Point Research (CPR) reports an 18% weekly surge in cyberattacks on Indian organizations in the first quarter of 2023.
Companies in the education and research sector faced the highest number of attacks, with an average of 2,507 attacks per firm.
The Asia Pacific region experienced the highest year-on-year surge in weekly cyberattacks, facing a weekly average of 1,835 attacks, marking a 16% increase, according to the report.
CPR recommends cyber-safety measures such as keeping computers and servers up-to-date and applying security patches to reduce susceptibility to cyberattacks.
