India's first mission to study the sun will be launched by June-July, according to the Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
The mission aims to study the sun's corona, which is the outermost layer of the solar atmosphere.
The mission will be conducted using a satellite called the Aditya-L1.
The Aditya-L1 mission will be the first Indian mission to study the sun from a vantage point close to the sun-earth L1 point, where the gravitational pull of the Earth and the Sun balance each other.
