indiGO Tech raises $54 million in funding for light EVs

  • US-based electric and autonomous vehicle company indiGO Tech raised $54 million in Series BB funding round with investments from FedEx, Foxconn, and FM Capital.
  • indiGO plans to offer multiple light smart EVs for commercial fleets and ride-hailing services, including Dash and Flow models.
  • Dash, priced at around $20,000 after tax credits, offers 90 cubic feet interior, 110 miles of range, and is available for pre-orders. Flow has 185 cubic feet space, over 200 miles range, and features the SmartWheels system.
  • GO acquired Clevon, an unmanned delivery vehicle provider, to enhance the development of the SmartWheels platform. The company aims to start GO Loop services and launch the vehicles by securing a Series C funding by the end of the year.
