An IT employee filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her boss based on an email in which he used the letters 'xx'.
The employee, Karina Gasparova, claimed that the letters 'xx' represented kisses and 'yy' implied sexual contact, interpreting the email as having a sexual connotation.
The employment tribunal concluded that Gasparova's perception of the events was distorted and rejected her allegations.
Judge Emma Burns stated that Gasparova made extraordinary claims without evidence and contradicted herself, leading to the dismissal of her case.
