Astronomers using the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) have discovered a distant galaxy that closely resembles the Milky Way.The galaxy, named Zhélòng, is estimated to have formed about 1 billion years after the Big Bang.Zhélòng features a central bulge of old stars, a vibrant disk of young stars, and two distinct spiral arms. The discovery challenges current theories of cosmology which predict that large galaxies like Zhélòng should take several billion years to form.
