Capital Group and KKR have launched two interval funds focused on credit strategies as part of their strategic partnership announced in May 2024.
The interval funds, Capital Group KKR Core Plus+ and Capital Group KKR Multi-Sector+, aim to broaden access to private market investment solutions for individual investors and institutional clients.
These funds offer a blend of public and private markets exposure, with the Core Plus+ fund having a total expense ratio of 84 basis points and the Multi-Sector+ fund at 89 basis points.
The funds also provide improved liquidity compared to standalone alternatives, with quarterly repurchase offers up to 10% of outstanding shares at net asset value.
Capital Group and KKR are working on equity-focused strategies to cater to different client needs and offer access to additional private market asset classes.
The collaboration aims to unlock the benefits of private investments for individual investors who historically had limited access to private markets.
Both firms are investing in education to help financial advisors understand and integrate public-private solutions into client portfolios effectively.
Capital Group's education platform includes articles, videos, and data interactives tailored for financial advisors, supported by insights from portfolio managers and investment specialists.
The goal is to equip advisors and individuals with the necessary knowledge to incorporate private assets into diversified portfolios successfully.
This partnership between Capital Group and KKR aims to build a new public-private category for investors and provide educational resources to support the integration of private markets into portfolios.
