<ul><li>A recent KPMG global tech survey revealed that 73% of tech function leaders in the life sciences industry believe artificial intelligence (AI) will revolutionize industry practices.</li><li>The report is based on a 2024 survey of approximately 2,450 technology leaders, including 123 senior life sciences technology function leaders from 26 countries.</li><li>Life sciences organizations are focusing on digital transformation to enhance efficiency and create new business models, with 63% citing risk aversion by senior leadership as a hindrance to digital transformation journeys.</li><li>Key findings also show that 59% of tech leaders believe their decision-making processes result in valuable outcomes, and the life sciences sector is prioritizing investments in edge computing, quantum computing, VR/AR/XR, and cyber security.</li></ul>
