Kubernetes virtualization startup LoftLabs Inc. has launched vNode, a new service that introduces lightweight node-level virtualization to provide secure workload isolation in shared Kubernetes infrastructure.
vNode complements LoftLabs' vCluster, allowing platform teams to virtualize Kubernetes nodes and achieve stricter multi-tenancy on the node level.
vNode enforces strict isolation within shared nodes, ensuring high security and low overhead, by introducing a lightweight virtualization layer.
LoftLabs also announced new features for its vCluster service, including Snapshot & Restore and open-source integration with Rancher.
