Lucid will deliver Saudi-made EVs to Europe starting in 2027 and aiming for an annual sales target of 150,000 units.
The expansion of Lucid's AMP-2 factory in Saudi Arabia, controlled by the country's public investment fund, is expected to be completed in 2026.
The expanded plant will allow Lucid to manufacture vehicles for markets outside North America, including Europe and some Asian markets.
Saudi Arabia may consider introducing U.S.-style import tariffs to promote local production, with Lucid becoming the country's exclusive domestic automaker.
