Massively on the Go: Pokemon GO’s February shows a little love
- Pokemon GO's February events feature Enamorous in normal 5-star raids, double special trades, and Lunar New Year event until February 2nd.
- The raids lineup introduces top-end pokemon, Dialga, Xerneas, and Yveltal which have some uses in PvP and raid.
- February's mega pokemon, Mega Medicham, Mega Garchomp, and Mega Tyranitar, are useful typing, even for new players.
- In Max Battles, Moltres, Flyer Pidove, and Darumaka are hard but you can use them outside the Dyna-system and are accessible, especially for new players.
- Community Day on February 9th features Karrablast and Shelmet, but neither 'mon is becoming more useful in raids or PvP.
- Beloved Buddies event takes place from 11th to 15th Feb. It may have extra candy in some fashion, hatching theme(s), and pinks.
- Unova Tour is in Taipei and Los Angeles where the Global Tour is March 1st-2nd.
- Road to Unova event takes place from February 24th to March 1st featuring Terrakion, Therian Landorus, Reshiram and Zekrom.
- Spotlight Hours of February have double evolution xp, double Stardust, and double catch xp.
- Niantic, the developer, has been criticized for various reasons, starting with the Wi-Spy privacy scandal, failing to secure player data, and inviting players during the pandemic.
