Ousted Oculus founder Palmer Luckey's company Anduril partners with Meta to develop AR and VR systems for the US military.
Palmer Luckey founded Oculus in 2012 and later founded Anduril, which focuses on tech-defense products like drones and sensors.
Anduril is taking over Microsoft's IVAS program to produce AR helmets for the US Army and is now working with Meta to enhance warfighters' capabilities.
The partnership aims to utilize advanced technology for military use without taxpayer support and save the US military billions of dollars.
