<ul data-eligibleForWebStory="false"><li>US-based power systems supplier MicroPower Direct has introduced three new models in its MSR78xx series of point-of-load switching regulators designed for high-reliability applications.</li><li>The regulators cater to industries like industrial automation, test and measurement, and embedded power systems, offering enhanced efficiency and decreased board complexity compared to traditional linear regulators.</li><li>The new models include MSR7805BW (0.5 A), MSR7810BW (1 A), and MSR7820CW (2 A), featuring peak efficiency of 97% and a wide 6.5-36 VDC input range in a compact SIP3 package.</li><li>The regulators operate from -40°C to 85°C, are tested to EN 55032 Class B EMC standards, and are designed to address the need for smaller designs, reduced heat, and cost control in engineering projects.</li></ul>
