<ul><li>A new firmware downgrading tool called turdus merula is now available for A9-A10(X) devices.</li><li>The tool allows users to downgrade their device's firmware back to any version they want, in either a tethered or untethered fashion.</li><li>Unlike the futurerestore utility, turdus merula doesn't require a compatible SEP and supports all iOS versions on supported devices.</li><li>The tool can be used with or without saved shsh2 blobs, with untethered downgrades being more convenient.</li></ul>
