New York has awarded $3 million in funding to three projects aimed at efficiently integrating EVs into the electric grid.
The awarded projects include initiatives for lamppost EV charging, fast charger deployment for electric school buses, and managed charging solutions for grid flexibility.
An additional $4 million will be awarded for technologies addressing data collection, transmission, and operational challenges related to managing EV charging.
The state aims to strengthen clean energy infrastructure, improve grid resiliency, and make driving electric vehicles more accessible and affordable for New Yorkers.
