North Korean hackers use newly discovered Linux malware to raid ATMs

  • North Korean hackers have expanded their hacking repertoire to include Linux.
  • The malware, called FASTCash, is a remote access tool installed on payment switches inside compromised networks.
  • Initially infecting AIX-powered switches, FASTCash now targets Windows and Linux-based switches.
