Canadian payments firm Nuvei Corporation has received regulatory approvals to go private.The company will be acquired by Neon Maple Purchaser Inc., in collaboration with Nuvei CEO Philip Fayer, Novacap Management Inc., and CDPQ.The transaction is valued at approximately US$6.3 billion and is expected to close on or around 15 November 2024.Shareholders approved the buyout, and key stakeholders will retain significant equity in the privatised company.
