O2 Czechia Boosts Summer Roaming: Free 1GB in 96 Countries from July 1
- O2 Czechia is enhancing summer roaming by offering customers 1GB of free mobile data for the first 24 hours in 96 non-EU countries starting July 1.
- This initiative aims to provide travelers with seamless connectivity upon arrival in a new destination, eliminating the need for immediate Wi-Fi or data package activation.
- Customers use five times more data during travel compared to the previous year, showing the increasing importance of mobile data while abroad.
- The free 1GB bonus package is automatically activated for eligible postpaid customers traveling to World TOP zone countries and can be used within the first 24 hours of arrival.
- O2 has expanded its roaming packages to cover a total of 96 countries, offering customers the flexibility to purchase data packages as needed during their travels.
- The prices for data packages remain the same despite the inclusion of additional countries, with options like World TOP 5GB for CZK 399 and World TOP 1GB for CZK 299.
- Customers traveling outside the World TOP zone can opt for the World Others 1GB package at CZK 999, valid in 28 countries like Cape Verde, the Maldives, and Mauritius.
- Both individual and corporate customers can easily activate these roaming packages via the Moje O2 self-service application or through SMS, ensuring secure data access during their trips.
