OpenAI's ChatGPT head of product, Nick Turley, testified in the US antitrust trial that OpenAI would be interested in buying Google's Chrome browser if it is forced to sell it.
The US Department of Justice argued for strong measures against Google in the remedies phase of the antitrust trial, including divesting the Chrome browser.
Judge Amit P. Mehta had ruled last August that Google's search business constituted an illegal monopoly.
