PCI-SIG Completes CopprLink Cabling Standard: PCIe 5.0 & 6.0 Get Wired
- PCI-SIG has completed the development of CopprLink, a new PCIe cabling standard.
- CopprLink defines both internal and external copper cabling for PCIe 5.0 and 6.0.
- The internal standard, CopprLink Internal Cable, allows for PCIe cables up to 1 meter in length.
- External CopprLink cables can go up to 2 meters, primarily targeting AI/Machine Learning markets.
