PostgreSQL 18: Add OLD/NEW support to RETURNING in DML queries
- PostgreSQL 18 introduces support for returning old and new values in DML queries.
- Previously, you could only return the values of inserts/updates/deletes, but not both old and new values.
- The new feature allows you to reference and return both old and new values for affected rows.
- This is useful for situations where you need to capture both the before and after values in a single query.
