Waffle House, the iconic diner chain, will start adding electric vehicle fast-charging stations to its restaurants starting in 2026.
The charging stations will support both conventional CCS and North American Charging Standard (NACS) plugs, catering to Tesla's EVs and other non-Tesla EVs.
This move by Waffle House is part of a trend in the EV space where various entities are focusing on enhancing the charging experience for electric vehicle drivers by adding amenities like food stops and restrooms.
The convenience of being able to charge an EV while enjoying a meal at Waffle House is expected to make the charging experience more delightful for drivers on the go.
