Renesas Electronics Corporation has launched the RA4L1 microcontroller (MCU) group, introducing 14 new devices with ultra-low power consumption, advanced security capabilities, and segment LCD support.
The RA4L1 MCUs leverage proprietary low-power technology, achieving an active mode power consumption of just 168 µA/MHz at 80 MHz and a standby current as low as 1.70 µA while retaining all SRAM.
Renesas supports the RA4L1 MCUs with its Flexible Software Package (FSP), providing essential infrastructure software and reference software for advanced AI, motor control, and cloud solutions.
The RA4L1 MCUs, along with the FSP software, are now available, and Renesas has introduced supporting evaluation board and solution starter kit for rapid development.
