Ryanair has confirmed it will expand its free baggage allowance, a significant change in its historically strict policy.
The move is in response to competition, customer feedback, and changing travel trends.
Changes include allowing an additional small cabin bag for Priority Boarding passengers, increased under-seat bag size for non-priority, and reduced fees for checked bags.
The update is set to roll out in autumn 2025 and aims to benefit weekend travelers, digital nomads, families, and to improve overall customer satisfaction.
