Samsung is considering a major redesign for the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra to make room for a bigger battery, which may involve removing the built-in S Pen slot.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra disappointed fans with its 5,000mAh battery capacity, so Samsung is exploring ways to increase it, including the possibility of a 7,000mAh battery in the S26 Ultra.
In the redesigned model, the S Pen may be attached magnetically to the side of the device, similar to Apple's iPad Pro, potentially enabling wireless charging.
Other design changes in the Galaxy S26 Ultra include thinner bezels, retaining the punch-hole front camera, and featuring the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 with Galaxy AP in certain regions.
