They have previously enabled Ryuk and Conti ransomware attacks through BazarCall campaigns.</li><li>SRG started posing as IT staff in phone calls since March 2025, tricking employees into granting remote access and exfiltrating data without needing admin privileges.</li><li>After stealing data, SRG extorts victims with ransom emails and pressures employees into negotiations. They operate a data leak site but do not always follow through on threats to publish the data.</li></ul>
